What Illness Does John Tesh Have? Cancer Update & Health Condition Now

John Tesh, battling Prostate Cancer, revealed he ‘went back into the trenches’ with cancer relapse.

John Tesh is an American pianist and composer of pop music and a radio host and television presenter. He used to host the Intelligence for Your Life radio show.

According to People, the 69-year-old composer and former co-host of Entertainment Tonight had two tumors around his pelvis that required chemotherapy. He also had his prostate removed and had one of his kidneys removed.

His disease is in remission these days, thanks in part to the support of his wife, actress Connie Sellecca.

He also stated that after fighting cancer the first time, he felt “battle-ready.”

What Illness Does John Tesh Have?

John Tesh was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2015, and he was told he had only 18 months to live, he revealed in his memoir.

He was having trouble while sleeping.

He stated “I was numb, and everyone else around me was distraught and crying, so I figured I’d have to find courage.” “However, I made a mistake. I cursed myself to death. I was diagnosed with cancer, he told the Post.”

He also stated that he had made arrangements for his stepson to take over his radio show. He talked to his business manager every day about insurance and funeral plots, and he drank constantly. But it was his 28-year-old wife, actress Connie Sellecca, who aided him through this trying time.

Cancer Update & Health Condition

Tesh was able to reverse the first wave of sickness with his wife, Connie Sellecca.

However, in October 2020, a scan revealed that cancer had returned, shattering hopes that he was in remission. Tesh lost one kidney and had his prostate removed throughout multiple operations and chemotherapy dosages while dealing with the global COVID-19 pandemic.

But he fought the disease for the second time and now is yet again cancer-free.

Is He Sick Now?

John Tesh survived another wave of cancer and is now a two-time survivor of prostate cancer.

Tesh credits his religious beliefs and retaining the correct mindset despite undergoing mainstream medical treatments for his success in combating cancer. Now that he feels better, he is getting ready for a show that won’t be short on inspiration.
